Cantilever/Sliding Gates

The main difference between cantilever and sliding gates is that sliding gates use a track to guide and carry the weight of the gate where cantilever gates use a cantilever weight (i.e a longer gate than the opening) to cope with the weight and guide posts to guide the gate.
Cantilever/sliding gates are typically used when space is at a premium. These gates come in 0.9m to 3m heights and widths from 1.8m to 14m (the higher widths would be in double leaf form).
They can be clad in any type of fencing to compliment the existing/new fencing system you may have in mind.
Both types of gates come standard with a lockable sliding latch but we can fit diti-locks, and 5-lever locks to suit your needs if required.
All gates come standard in hot-dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461or can be plastic powder coated to what ever RAL colour the client requires. All powder coating is done to BS 1722 part 16 or, when specified, BS 6497.
